One of the biggest challenges to keeping your business up to date with the most efficient technological advances is to continue to meet and exceed the needs of your client at the same time you update your facility. Sometimes, the very lives of your clients depend on your ability to serve them without interruption.
GTC accepted just such a challenge at OSU Ross Heart Hospital -- one of the few academic heart centers in the U.S. and ranked as a top heart hospital in the country.
A second floor 14,000 square foot addition for the new invasive electrophysiology lab, cardiac labs, and a recovery area required the installation of an HVAC & plumbing system and renovations to an existing 2nd floor recovery area.
All that new floor space created increased loads – so GTC also updated and installed new steam/hot water heat exchangers for the entire Ross Heart Hospital.
GTC met the challenge to install all mechanical systems in a fully functional working hospital. Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital never shut down and work was completed during all hours of the day.
